Implementation of the first DOS based Auction Accounting Software System. (worked great until our sales outgrew the floppy disc).

We were very excited at the prospect of letting the phones manage after hour auction inquiries.

1996

Soon after our launch and with a skeleton staff, Apple came to us with huge volume.  Using a proprietary system and a central warehouse logistics firm we could handle whatever they would throw our way.

1998

A first test of this new technology included an offering of 100’s of consumer electronics and computer products.   Married with our distribution system and theater style auction venue, execution was surprisingly simple.

2001

Once requiring 100’s of miles of travel, this sale of bank branches throughout the nation took place using a webcast with no attendees.  14 straight hours of selling to online bidders as we moved from city to city saved the FDIC many dollars.

1999

Despite the learning curve and growing pains associated with over 6,000 lots, 5 straight days of webcasting and bidders from over 70 countries, we new after this auction, everything had changed.

2004

2006

Serving the non-profit sector through partner company, Rock the Gavel, it was time to see if online strategies could capture the support dollars of those unable to attend the gala event...Online charity auctions are now growing at exponential rates.

2008

While live webcast auctions will always have their place, our latest online bidding tool has become a ‘buyer favorite’.  Our Expresbid auctions provide the feel of a live auction with lots closing sequentially and remaining open as bidding continues.  These sales, however, use no live auctioneer providing for a quicker sale process.
